This course introduces the student to a variety of topics that help shape the legal environment of a small business. A survey of those topics includes ethics, laws, negligence, and liability, with an emphasis on contracts and dispute resolution. Students will learn about business organizational types. Property and consumer law topics, including intellectual property, will be discussed.
