Course info

This course introduces the theory and practice of cost accounting. Topics include cost concepts, cost behavior, and cost accounting techniques for manufacturing and service based businesses. Product costing (job-order and process), standard costs, overhead costs, inventory control and validation, budgeting, and the effect of various costing methods on income are examined.

Prerequisite: BUS 123
